Open Mind Online School Limited (hereinafter referred to as OM) maintains marketing campaigns on several Social Media platforms, such as Instagram or Twitter. OM requests your e-mail address only and will collect no other personal information for social media campaign activities.

OM implemented privacy by EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards to collect your Personal Data as detailed below.

Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your Personal Data and how we will treat and process them. By providing your e-mail address and accept this Privacy Policy, you Consent to the practices described below.

Acceptance of this Privacy Policy

Your Consent to this Policy followed by your submission of your e-mail address represents your agreement to the collection, processing and storage of your Personal Data by OM as described in this Policy.

OM may modify its Privacy Policy to comply with statutory data protection and privacy laws and will post the most current version. You will be notified by e-mail and you will be asked to Consent to these modifications before they become applicable.

Data Collection

OM collects no Personal Data other than your e-mail address. OM collects data from yourself directly i.e. when you provide your e-mail address, or via the social networking service in which case your consent for such activities were previously granted.

As far as we obtain your consent for processing your Personal Data, Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis ("data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes").

The provision of your e-mail address requires no specific registration at OM Webpages. You may later want to register for OM services, then you will be requested to provide more details and accept a more detailed Privacy Policy regarding the collection of your other Personal Data (for other purposes).

Purpose of data collection and use of your Personal Data

OM uses your Personal Data (namely your e-mail address only) for the sole purpose of informing you about the specified promotional offer.

Personal Data transmitted to OM may be managed/processed by OM only. OM will not monetize your Personal Data by transferring them to third parties, and no third party may have access to your Personal Data.

You may revoke your Consent at any time for any use of your Personal Data by OM. Please note that the withdrawal of your Consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your Personal Data based on your Consent before its withdrawal.

Period for which your Personal Data will be stored

Your Personal Data will be used to provide you with a personalized experience for a duration of no longer than 12 (twelve) months from the date of your Personal Data being provided.

Storage of your Personal Data

The processing of your Personal Data may require that your data are ultimately transferred/transmitted to, and/or stored at a destination outside of your country of residence. Upon accepting the terms of this Policy, you agree – where permitted by law – the processing of your Personal Data. OM processes your Personal Data in a proper manner. OM shall communicate the risk to your rights and freedoms if your data happened to be unduly accessed (or is reasonably believed to have been unduly accessed) by unauthorized person, according to provisions set forth in the applicable law, without undue delay. It shall take no longer than 72 hours to notify you after having become aware of a data breach, where feasible, provided that applicable laws do not prohibit such notification.

Please note that OM will never ask you for personal details, password, credit card details etc. by e-mail. OM advises you to be vigilant and apply caution.

If the social media platform contains links to third-party sites or pages, those operate not under this Policy. OM does not exercise control over third-party sites and therefore recommends you examine the privacy statements posted on those other sites or pages to understand their procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing Personal Data. We reject any liability relating to the privacy policy in force on said third-party sites, the collection and use of your Personal Data by the latter and relating to the contents of said sites.

Access to your Personal Data and information rights

You have the right to request access to or information about the Personal Data related to you. You may request deletion, correction or revision of your Personal Data; oppose the data processing; limit the use and disclosure of your Personal Data; and revoke Consent to any of our data processing activities, provided that such data are processed by OM.

These rights can be exercised by sending us an e-mail / letter or by following the link provided at the end of our e-mails.
